Created by Lauren Pollack, a fitness professional with over 10 years of experience, Floss New York offers a holistic approach to physical fitness and mindfulness by combining Pilates-based fitness classes and restorative practices.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Lauren found her passion for wellness after seeing the toll a 9-5 desk job in New York City took on her body. Through Pilates, Lauren was able to re-balance her body and feel more relaxed than ever before. She then went on to become a certified Pilates Mat, Barre & Apparatus instructor, and transitioned out of the corporate world to a career in health and wellness.
Over the course of her career as a fitness professional, Lauren would always tell clients that Pilates was like flossing your teeth for your body. Thus, The Floss Method was born. Utilizing techniques designed to re-balance, lengthen and tone muscles, and in turn, promote a practice of mindfulness, Floss will instantly have you feeling good AF.
